Pastors Ken and Angie Senchal are the founding pastors of OneChurch and have been married for over 30 years. Their passion is simple: helping people become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. They believe discipleship is not just about attending church services, but about daily abiding in Jesus, growing in God’s Word, building authentic relationships, and helping others take their next step spiritually. Their heart is to see people move from simply believing in Jesus to truly following Him. Pastor Ken holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling and is a gifted communicator who loves teaching biblical truth in a practical, relatable, and understandable way. Together, Ken and Angie are passionate about the simplicity of the Gospel, the transforming power of God’s grace, and the importance of biblical community through life groups. They strongly believe life groups are one of the primary ways disciples are developed, friendships are formed, encouragement is given, and people learn to live out their faith together.

Ken and Angie have two grown children, Kendall and his wife Haley, and Kenzie and her husband Paris. They are also proud grandparents to three grandchildren and treasure spending time with family. When they are not serving at church, they enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, laughing together (because life’s too short not to), spending time with friends and family, and attending just about any kind of sporting event. Their greatest desire is to help people know God deeply, experience life change through Jesus, and discover the joy of making disciples who make disciples.

OUR BELIEFS

1. We believe that THE BIBLE is the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God.

2. We believe that there is ONE GOD who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in essence, and co-equal and co-eternal in person.

3. We believe that MANKIND is inherently sinful, spiritually dead, and by nature, rebellious and stubbornly willful without God. No amount of good deeds or self-help can change this. Only God — who is inherently sovereign, all knowing, loving and just — can help humanity.

We believe that 2,000 years ago, God sent HIS ETERNAL SON, JESUS, who by the power of the Holy Spirit was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death, rose from the dead, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is coming again in great power to physically reign with His church in His coming kingdom.

7. We believe that the CHURCH IS COMPRISED of all God-called believers who have put their faith in the authority and headship of Jesus Christ and have been baptized into the body of Christ.

9. We believe that the PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH is to bring glory to God by sharing the love of God, preaching the Gospel, and baptizing and making disciples of every nation and people group.

10. We believe that BAPTISM is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and is subsequent to salvation.

11. We believe that the COMMUNION (bread and wine) was instituted at the Last Supper by Christ where he admonished His followers to frequently observe in remembrance of His sacrifice until He returns to earth.

12. We believe that DISCIPLESHIP is the training and equipping of believers to faithfully follow Christ and lead others to follow Christ.

13. We believe that the GOAL of every Christian believer should be to mature, to be conformed to the image of Christ, and to be fruitful for Christ.
