our lead pastor
Our Lead pastor, Ken and his wife Angie have been married for over 30 years. They have raised two children, Kendall (married to Haley) and Kenzie (married to Paris and their baby girl, Presley), who all love God and serve Him with their unique talents. Ken is a gifted communicator who loves teaching biblical truths in a manner that is relatable and understandable. Both of them love to laugh (life’s too short not to), enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, hanging out with family & friends, and attending just about any type of sporting event. They are passionate about the simplicity of the Gospel, the power of God’s grace, and the ability of small groups to develop disciples, build friendships and give encouragement.

our Vision, Mission & Values
Vision: One Church exists to change the world, one person at a time.
We are about relationships. In fact, the “world” can be a huge place. To us, our world is our family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and acquaintances.
Changing the world “one” person at a time simply means we believe God works most effectively through our individual relationships to share Jesus.
So while the masses matter to God, the most effective way to bring hope and share life is through individual relationships.

So while the masses matter to God, the most effective way to bring hope and share life is through individual relationships.
Mission: We change the world “one” person at a time by helping people:
- Know God.
- Experience freedom.
- Discover their purpose.
- Make a difference.
We Believe:
- The Bible is the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God.
- There is one God who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in essence, and co-equal and co-eternal in person.
- Mankind is inherently sinful, spiritually dead, and by nature, rebellious and stubbornly willful without God. No amount of good deeds or self-help can change this. Only God — who is inherently sovereign, all knowing, loving and just — can help humanity.
- 2,000 years ago God sent His Eternal Son, Jesus, who by the power of the Holy Spirit was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death, rose from the dead, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and is coming again in great power to physically reign with His church in His coming kingdom.
- Belief in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus brings forgiveness of sin. And, through our faith in Jesus we become children of God, sealed unto the day of redemption by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- God’s gracious offer of salvation facilitates our turning from sin and culminates when our faith is placed in His Son’s sacrifice, as not only payment for our debt of sin but also the means by which we become God’s purchased possession — the Church.
- The Church is comprised of all God-called believers who have put their faith in the authority and headship of Jesus Christ and have been baptized into the body of Christ.
- The Church is helped, comforted, sanctified, empowered and equipped by the Holy Spirit.
- The purpose of the Church is to bring glory to God by sharing the love of God, preaching the Gospel, and baptizing and making disciples of every nation and people group.
- Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and is subsequent to salvation.
- The Communion (bread and wine) was instituted at the Last Supper by Christ where he admonished His followers to frequently observe in remembrance of His sacrifice until He returns to earth.
- Discipleship is the training and equipping of believers to faithfully follow Christ and lead others to follow Christ.
- The goal of every Christian believer should be to mature, to be conformed to the image of Christ, and to be fruitful for Christ.
We Value:
- Spiritual Maturity over Shallow Christianity — We believe spiritual growth is a necessity, not an option. We believe spiritual growth is taught and modeled in small groups and one on one relationships.
- Authentic Relationships over Superficial Interactions — God created us to live life in genuine relationships with one another, to know and be known.
Superficial interactions create loneliness and isolation, but authentic relationships give true meaning and purpose to our lives. - Truth over deception — We believe our culture is desperately seeking genuine truth that can only be found in God’s Word.
- Radical Grace over Condemnation — God is a God of second chances! We know that because He has forgiven us so many times. We believe in extending to others the same radical, life-saving grace God has so unselfishly given us. God is for us, why should we not be for everyone else?
- Generosity over Selfishness — We are generous because God is the very definition of generosity. He loved us so much that He gave us His Son that we might be saved. Since we are recipients of such extravagant generosity, we strive to live our lives with an open hand to others instead of a closed fist.
- Unity over Division — God is so pleased by unity that He dwells in the midst of it. Our passion is to share what we are for instead of what we are against. Our goal is to find common ground instead of seeking out that which separates.
- Reconciliation over Racism — We value people. All people and our heart is that we all learn to live now as if we were in Heaven, instead of this broken culture on earth. Scripture tells us that every tribe, nation, creed, and tongue will worship God in Heaven. We believe in taking the initiative now, to cross over any life of racism that would seek to separate us.
- Presence of God over Empty Religious Experiences — We believe that just a moment in God’s presence can change anything.
